La macchinazione

La macchinazione is a 2016 Italian-French biographical drama film written and directed by David Grieco. The film focuses on the final hours of the renowned filmmaker and poet Pier Paolo Pasolini before his murder. Massimo Ranieri, who portrays Pasolini, had met the poet in his youth, and Pasolini himself was struck by the physical resemblance between them. Shot in Italian, the film runs approximately 115 minutes.

Released in France under the title L'Affaire Pasolini, the film's cast also includes Roberto Citran, Milena Vukotic and Libero De Rienzo alongside Ranieri.
