Le complot

Le complot is a Franco-Italian-Spanish co-production directed by René Gainville and released in May 1973. Running about two hours, the picture falls within the war and drama genres and features an extensive ensemble of French and Italian actors of the era, among them Jean Rochefort, Marina Vlady, Michel Bouquet, Michel Duchaussoy, Raymond Pellegrin, Daniel Ceccaldi, Gabriele Tinti, Maurice Biraud and Raymond Gérôme, with Dominique Zardi and Robert Castel also appearing. As the title indicates, the story centres on a conspiracy. Filmed in French, it is a typical example of the multinational European co-productions of the early 1970s, combining resources and talent from three countries under a single director.
