Mission to Hell

Mission to Hell (original German title: Die Diamantenhölle am Mekong, French: Les Diamants du Mékong, Italian: La sfida viene da Bangkok) is a 1964 spy film directed by Gianfranco Parolini. A co-production between West Germany, France and Italy, it opened in German cinemas on 19 June 1964, with part of the shooting carried out in Bangkok.

Regarded as one of the earliest Eurospy productions, the picture proved successful at the box office. Paul Hubschmid heads the cast, joined by Marianne Hold, Horst Frank, Brad Harris, Chris Howland, Philippe Lemaire and Gianni Rizzo. Written by Wolf C. Hartwig and Johannes Kai, the story revolves around a diamond adventure set in the Mekong region.
