Murat İle Nazlı

Murat İle Nazlı is a 1972 Turkish film directed by Memduh Ün. Murat, a doctor returning to his village after finishing his studies, is caught in a blizzard and takes shelter in a house that turns out to belong to Hıdır, his family's blood-feud enemy; there he falls in love with Nazlı, who lives in the house. Caught between two warring families, the young couple's forbidden love unfolds around the affection and the child Nazlı must conceal for years and around Murat being wrongly accused. Cüneyt Arkın and Fatma Girik share the leads, with Aytaç Arman also in the cast. The film was shot in Burdur.
