New York, I Love You

New York, I Love You is a 2008 American anthology film and the second installment of the Cities of Love franchise, created and produced by Emmanuel Benbihy. Following the structure of 2006's Paris, je t'aime, it weaves together eleven short stories about love, each set in one of New York City's five boroughs and helmed by a different director, among them Jiang Wen, Mira Nair, Shunji Iwai, Yvan Attal, Brett Ratner, Allen Hughes, Shekhar Kapur, Natalie Portman, Fatih Akın, Joshua Marston and Randy Balsmeyer. Unlike its predecessor, the segments are linked by a cameraman who films the other characters.

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2008 and opened in the United States on October 16, 2009, earning about $9.7 million worldwide to mixed reviews. Its ensemble cast features Bradley Cooper, Shia LaBeouf, Natalie Portman, Ethan Hawke, James Caan and Irrfan Khan, alongside Turkish screen veteran Uğur Yücel.
