Sabit Kanca

Sabit Kanca is a 2013 Turkish comedy film directed by Alper Mestçi, who wrote the screenplay together with Ali Ersin Kelleci. Produced by Muhteşem Film and distributed by UIP, the 81-minute picture reached theatres on 22 March 2013.

The film brings to the big screen the adventures of Sabit Kanca, a character who became an overnight internet phenomenon, with catchphrases audiences knew by heart. Said to be "as knowledgeable as a hundred scientists" yet shaped by neighbourhood street culture, he battles injustice with his knowledge, offering a simple fix for every problem and a heavy retort for every occasion. İsmail Baki Tuncer plays the title character.

The cast also includes Orhan Aydın as the captain (Yüzbaşı), alongside Sinan Çalışkanoğlu, Burak Topaloğlu, Volkan Kantoğlu, Rabia Yıldırım, Halil Sezai and Feyyaz Yiğit.
