Sinan Çalışkanoğlu — Biography

Born on 26 January 1978 in Istanbul, Sinan Çalışkanoğlu is a Turkish actor who graduated from the Theatre Department of Akademi İstanbul and went on to study pantomime and acting at the Pera Fine Arts Center. He is best known for playing the villain Hades in the 2006-2009 series Selena, a nickname that has stuck with him ever since, and later made a name for himself in sketch comedy as Çetin on Güldür Güldür Show.

His career, which began with the 2002 series Sırlar Dünyası, has spanned shows such as İşler Güçler, Bir İstanbul Masalı, Hayat Bilgisi, Yahşi Cazibe, Türk Malı, Türk'ün Uzayla İmtihanı, Klavye Delikanlıları and Kertenkele, alongside films including İncir Reçeli, Sabit Kanca and Mucize 2: Aşk. Beyond acting, he has hosted programs such as Şanslı Masa with Orçun Kaptan, İlk Buluşma, and the 52-episode Elin Oğlu.

He has been married three times: to Yeşim Ceren Bozoğlu from 2007 to 2010, to Tuğba Sarıünal from 2013 to 2015, and, since 2018, to Çiğdem Şen. He returned to the state theatre stage in 2023, continuing his career across multiple mediums.
