The Lizard (Kertenkele)
Kertenkele is a Turkish television series that premiered on atv on October 25, 2014, blending action, comedy, detective, romance and drama. Its story is adapted from the film Marmoulak directed by Kamal Tabrizi. The series was produced by Yalçın Şen and written by Hakan Kandal and Kemal Çelik, with a cast led by Timur Acar, Sera Tokdemir, Asena Tuğal, Erdinç Gülener, Sinan Çalışkanoğlu and Umut Oğuz.
In its third season the show changed its storyline and leading cast, adopting the title Kertenkele: Yeniden Doğuş, with Gülbin Aydın and Canan Çelik as its final directors. Running for three seasons, the series concluded with its 85th episode on December 24, 2016.
