The Fury of Hercules

The Fury of Hercules is a 1962 French-Italian co-production written and directed by Gianfranco Parolini. A typical entry in the sword-and-sandal genre popular at the time, the film centers on the Greek hero Hercules. Brad Harris stars as Hercules, with Luisella Boni as Daria, Serge Gainsbourg as Menistus and Alan Steel as Kaldos. Originally titled La furia di Ercole, the picture was also released in some territories under the name The Fury of Samson. Parolini co-wrote the screenplay with Giovanni Simonelli and Sergio Sollima. Blending mythological elements with adventure, the story follows the strongman hero as he uses his legendary might against tyranny and oppression.
