The Killer Likes Candy

Movie · 1968 · 2 people

The Killer Likes Candy (original Italian title Un killer per sua maestà) is a 1968 Eurospy film produced as a co-production between Italy, France and West Germany. The picture was directed by Maurice Cloche together with Federico Chentrens and is loosely adapted from Adam Saint-Moore's novel À cœur ouvert pour face d'ange.

Kerwin Mathews heads the cast, supported by Marilù Tolo, Ann Smyrner, Venantino Venantini, Gordon Mitchell, Bruno Cremer and Riccardo Garrone. Made in the wave of European secret-agent adventures that followed the success of the James Bond series, it mixes espionage, intrigue and action in the typical style of the genre. The film opened in Italy in April 1968, with releases in Germany and France following later the same year.
