Trop c'est trop

Movie · 1975 · 2 people

Trop c'est trop is a 1975 French comedy directed by Didier Kaminka, who also appears on screen. The story follows Didier, Philippe and Georges, three men born on the same day, at the same hour and in the same room as the war was ending. During their school years, each of the three friends courts the beautiful Edina, who was born at the very same moment, but she remains indifferent to their affections and does not hesitate to report them when they push too far. Now in their thirties and still unsuccessful, the three men set out to find Edina after she disappears. Along the way they must shake off three other young women — Patricia, Carole and Nicole — who have fallen for them. They finally track Edina down and struggle to free her from a fashion photographer's advances. Only after Edina's accidental death, a triple suicide and a brief stop in Paradise do the three friends fulfil their dream, in Hell. Georges Beller and Philippe Ogouz co-star.
