Oh, What Befell Me (Uy Başuma Gelenler) (translated)

Uy Başuma Gelenler is a Turkish comedy television series produced by Süreç Film that began airing on Show TV on 5 July 2004. Filmed in the village of Düzköy in Giresun's Keşap district, the series ended after its 13th episode in a single season.

The story follows Hakan, an unemployed mechanical engineer living in Istanbul, who travels to the village after inheriting a hazelnut orchard and a dilapidated house in Giresun. His plan to sell the property and return to the city falls apart when a mine is discovered on his land and he makes a bet with the village headman; meanwhile, the headman's daughter Fındık takes an interest in him, adding both romantic and comic turns. The leading cast includes Hakan Yılmaz, Başak Köklükaya, Aykut Oray, Nefise Karatay and Mustafa Üstündağ.
