You Have Nothing to Declare? is a 1959 French comedy directed by Clément Duhour. The film adapts the stage play of the same name by Maurice Hennequin and Pierre Veber, which premiered at the Théâtre des Nouveautés in October 1906 and was published by Stock that same year. Running roughly ninety minutes, the picture brings together performers well known from French screen comedy of the period, among them Darry Cowl and Michel Serrault. Built around the comic premise of customs and declarations, it belongs to a tradition of French farce adaptations in which the misunderstandings and brisk dialogue of the boulevard theatre were carried over to the cinema.
