Zagor

Zagor is a Turkish feature film written and directed by Mehmet Aslan. Shot in black and white at the very start of the 1970s, it reached theaters on February 1, 1972. Despite borrowing its name from the famous Italian comic-book hero, the film has no direct connection to that character: it is a Wild West adventure with fantastic overtones, following the exploits of a gunslinger.

The story follows Zagor as he takes revenge, one by one, on the four men who persecuted his family. The film was produced by Nami Dilbaz for Özdeyiş Film, with Özdemir Öğüt serving as director of photography.

The cast includes Cihangir Gaffari, Yılmaz Köksal, Kâzım Kartal, Hüseyin Zan, Zeki Sezer and Nükhet Egeli.
