Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi — Biography

Ülkü Hilal Çiftçi was born on 11 January 2009 in the Devrek district of Zonguldak, to Ünal and Kader Çiftçi, and grew up with two sisters, Gökçen Bilge and Aysima. She began appearing in commercials at the age of four, later moving with her family to Istanbul, where she continued her education.

She made her television debut in 2012 with İki Dünya Arasında and appeared the following year in Arka Sokaklar; as a child actress she also took roles in series such as Karadayı, Kırgın Çiçekler, Tozkoparan İskender, Gülümse Kaderine and Dönence. Her performance in Dönence earned her a Best Child Actor nomination at the 49th Golden Butterfly Awards in 2023.

Her breakthrough came with the 2024 series İnci Taneleri, where she played Ayça opposite Yılmaz Erdoğan and gained a large following; in 2025 she attended the 26th Sadri Alışık Awards. She has also appeared in advertisements for brands including Sleepy, Fiat Egea, Garanti Bankası, Michelin and Ariel, and began a music career releasing singles on Apple Music. She currently plays the character Melek in the series Yeraltı.
