Elif

Elif is a Turkish daily drama series produced by Green Yapım that premiered on Kanal 7 on September 15, 2014. As the channel's first daily drama, it ran for five seasons and 940 episodes, becoming Kanal 7's longest-running series in both episode and season count before concluding on June 10, 2019. The series was directed by Fulya Yavuzoğlu and Oğuz Ayaz.

The story begins when little Elif, born of a love rejected by her family, is entrusted by her mother Melek to a maid in the wealthy Emiroğlu family's mansion for her own protection. The revelation that Elif's biological father lives in the same mansion, along with family secrets and intrigues, deepens the plot across the seasons. The leads include Isabella Damla Güvenilir, Selin Sezgin, Cemre Melis Çınar, and Emre Kıvılcım. Noted as the first daily series to participate in the Cannes Film Festival, Elif was broadcast in more than twenty countries, becoming one of the successful examples of Turkish series exports.
