Verónika Moral — Biography

Verónika Moral is an actress and one of the familiar faces of Spanish television, best known for the long-running period drama Amar en tiempos revueltos. She appeared in productions such as Compañeros, Física o química, Vis a vis and Servir y proteger, and in the films Zipi y Zape y el club de la canica, La novia and Lejos del mar. She also works in the theatre.

Born in Burgos, she lived there until she was eight, then moved with her family to San Sebastián in the Basque Country, where she studied business. She made her film debut in 1999 in Sí, quiero...; Ciudad Sur in 2001 and Compañeros in 2002 brought her to national television. She had regular roles in Tres son multitud in 2003 and Capital in 2004. In 2008-2009 she appeared in Física o química, Qué vida más triste and the Basque series Euskolegas, and she was in Amar en tiempos revueltos from 2009 to 2010.

In later years she appeared in Ciega a citas, Mar de plástico and, as Carmen de Icaza, in the miniseries Lo que escondían sus ojos; in Vis a vis she played the police officer Helena Martín. She worked with Imanol Uribe on Lejos del mar and with Paula Ortiz on La novia. In 2017 she appeared in Perdóname, señor and Servir y proteger, and in 2018 in La víctima número 8.
