Yasemin Sakallıoğlu — Biography

Yasemin Sakallıoğlu was born on 22 April 1988 in Istanbul to a father from Sakarya and a mother from İkizdere, Rize. In 2016 she enrolled in the Drama and Acting Department at İstanbul Aydın University's Faculty of Fine Arts, though she left the program in 2019. She first drew attention in 2014 with comedic videos, including impressions of her mother, that she posted on social media, and the following attention steered her toward a professional acting career.

She made her film debut in Bizum Hoca and, from 2015, played the character Lütfiye in the series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz. Credited as the first comedian to headline a stand-up show at Ülker Sport Arena and the first woman comedian to perform at the Harbiye Open-Air Theatre, she published a book in 2021 and married Burak Yırtar the same year. After concluding her own stage show Doğru Koca Nasıl Seçilir in early 2026, she took the lead role that summer in the black-comedy film Düğün Şarkıcısı.
