Aslı Enver — Biography

Ayten Aslı Enver was born in London on 10 May 1984 to a Turkish Cypriot father and a mother who had gone there for her studies; she lived in London until age 12, then moved with her family to Turkey. She graduated in theatre studies from Haliç University after Pera Fine Arts High School, and trained further at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center.

After minor roles and the series Hayat Bilgisi, she became known in 2007 playing Mine in the youth series Kavak Yelleri. In 2012 she won acclaim as Ahu in Suskunlar, then took leading parts in Kayıp, Bana Artık Hicran De, Mutlu Ol Yeter and Kış Güneşi. In 2017 she reached a career turning point playing Süreyya in İstanbullu Gelin, winning a Golden Butterfly award that year.

In 2020 she revealed she had lived with dyslexia since childhood, overcoming it by memorising scripts in a single focused reading. She married Birkan Sokullu in 2012 and divorced in 2015; she wed businessman Berkin Gökbudak in 2022, and their daughter Elay was born in 2023.

On screen she has taken parts in Sen Yaşamaya Bak, Öteki Taraf, Kardeşim Benim and Tamam mıyız?, plus the series Babil and Arayış; since 2025 she has starred opposite Engin Akyürek in Netflix's Enfes Bir Akşam.
