The Silent Ones (Suskunlar) (translated)

Suskunlar is a two-season, 28-episode Turkish drama-thriller produced by Tims&B Productions that aired on Show TV from March 1 to December 2, 2012. The story draws on the real case of children in Gaziantep who were sentenced in absentia to nine years in prison in 1997 for stealing a baklava delivery truck.

Çağatay Tosun directed the first season, while Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı and Hatice Memiş directed the second; the score was composed by Aytekin Ataş. Led by Murat Yıldırım, Sarp Akkaya, Güven Murat Akpınar, Aslı Enver, Berk Hakman, and Pelin Akil, the series became the first Turkish drama sold to the US market when NBC remade it in 2016 as 'Game of Silence.'
