Emirhan Akbaba — Biography

Emirhan Akbaba is a Turkish actor, director and screenwriter, born on September 3, 2001 in Istanbul. He began acting as a child, first appearing in the series Muhteşem Yüzyıl (2011). He drew attention with the character Sarı Bilal in Suskunlar (2012) and went on to appear in Sana Bir Sır Vereceğim (2013). He played Avaz in the 2014 film Two Hearts as One.

He reached a wide audience with the role of İsa in Poyraz Karayel (2015), broadcast on Kanal D with Musa Uzunlar, Burçin Terzioğlu and İlker Kaleli in the lead roles. In later years he moved behind the camera, turning to directing and screenwriting.
