Atilla Ergün — Biography
Atilla Ergün, born Atilla Ergündoğmuş (October 10, 1939, İzmir – October 20, 1998, Istanbul), was a Turkish stage and film actor trained at the Ankara State Conservatory's theatre department. Bringing his stage discipline to the screen, Ergün became one of the sought-after names in Turkish action and adventure cinema throughout the 1970s.
He appeared in the Kara Murat adventure series, including Fatih'in Fedaisi (1972) and Şeyh Gaffar'a Karşı (1977), as well as in films such as Çılgınlar (1974), Dört Hergele (1975), Kan ve Tabanca (1970), and Şafakta Buluşalım (1975); in the 1980s he took on a different genre with the comedy Yedi Bela Hüsnü (1982).
Atilla Ergün died in Istanbul in 1998.
