Crazy people (Çılgınlar) (translated)
Çılgınlar ("The Mad Ones") is a 1974 Turkish film written and directed by Safa Önal, one of the most prolific figures of the Yeşilçam era. The plot follows a gang plotting to swindle a wealthy businessman, using a woman who appears to have lost her memory to get close to him — though events do not unfold as the gang intends.
It stars Türkân Şoray — long known as the "Sultana" of Turkish cinema — alongside leading man Ekrem Bora, with Atilla Ergün appearing as a prosecutor. The film was made during the most productive years of Yeşilçam.
