Ayhan Eroğlu — Biography

Audiences know Turkish film and television actor Ayhan Eroğlu for tough, dark-edged characters. In an interview he said that evil has to be portrayed as well as possible, and for years he has tried to render such roles as realistically as he can. He began acting as a child and still takes on new film and series projects.

He first stood on a film set in 1982, aged six, in Çaycılar Güzeli. In the following years he appeared in productions such as Marziye (1998) and Serseri (2003), and played Eşkiya Şükrü in the 2005 television film Memleket Hikayeleri - Eşkiya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz. Series brought him to wider audiences: he played Matador İsmail in Adanalı, followed by roles in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, Galip Derviş, Gölgedekiler and Kayıp Aranıyor, and he also joined the series Avlu.

In cinema he has appeared in Güneşi Gördüm, Av Mevsimi (2010), Yağmur: Kıyamet Çiçeği (2014), Çarşı Pazar (2015), Deliormanlı, Reis, Müsaadenizle Büyükler (2018) and Kâfir 2: Kurban (2025), and is in the cast of the international production Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023). Alongside acting, he set up a special fund through Turkey's first product-placement agency to support productions.
