Ayşe Tolga — Biography

Ayşe Tolga was born on 9 June 1973 in Istanbul and graduated from the Ceramics Department at Marmara University's Faculty of Fine Arts. She began acting in 1994 with Şehnaz Tango, then took roles in Ayrılsak da Beraberiz, Çarli İş Başında and Beşik Kertmesi, and played Nilüfer Hatun in the 2005 film Hacivat Karagöz Neden Öldürüldü?.

From 2012 she won wide affection as Gülden in TRT's period comedy Seksenler, and later appeared with the same team in Ev Yapımı and in Çocuklar Duymasın. Alongside acting she produced and hosted lifestyle shows on fashion and health, and divorced her husband Marsel Eskinazi in 2013.

Since 2004 she has trained in nutrition, detox and body therapy work, going on to specialise in skincare, and has published two books on the subject, İyilik Sende and Ne İstersen Değil, Neysen Onu Çekersin. Press coverage in recent years has noted her turn from acting toward this personal-development work.
