Celil Nalçakan — Biography

Celil Nalçakan, born on June 10, 1978 in Sivas, is a Turkish actor who is also interested in music. The son of a teacher mother and an electrical technician father, Nalçakan dropped out of Cumhuriyet University's Geology Engineering and Balıkesir University's Tourism and Hotel Management programs. During this time, he became acquainted with the stage at the Sivas State Theatre, and subsequently passed the Türker İnanoğlu Foundation's exam to receive acting training in Istanbul.

The actor, who started his screen career in 2006 with the series Sıla, played the character Necip in Bitmeyen Şarkı in 2010; and has appeared in series such as İntikam, Kış Masalı, Hanımın Çiftliği, Galip Derviş, Vicdan and Keşanlı Ali Destanı. He gained widespread popularity with the character Zülfikar, which he portrayed in Poyraz Karayel, which started in 2015, and played Cem Güneş in the series Bir Aile Hikayesi in 2019.

Nalçakan, who delivered one of the most well-known roles of his career with the character Akif Atakul in the long-running series Kardeşlerim, which started in 2021, played Osman in the film Bursa Bülbülü in 2023; and in 2025, he appeared before the audience as the character Bekri Vezirli, nicknamed Atmaca, in the series Sustalı Ceylan.
