Revenge (İntikam) (translated)

İntikam (Revenge) is a Turkish primetime drama series that aired on Kanal D from January 3, 2013 to February 20, 2014. It is the Turkish adaptation of the ABC series Revenge created by Mike Kelley, with a plot inspired by Alexandre Dumas' 1844 novel The Count of Monte Cristo. Produced in collaboration between D Productions and Disney Turkey, the series ran for two seasons totaling 44 episodes and was rebroadcast on TV2 in the summer of 2015.

The story follows Derin, whose father Adil is framed when the owner of the bank he manages embezzles it and pins the crime on him. Sent to an orphanage and raised to believe her father was guilty, Derin discovers the truth at eighteen through the diaries he left behind. After Adil dies in prison as an innocent man, Derin erases her past and returns to her childhood neighborhood on the Bosphorus under the identity of Yağmur Özden, determined to take revenge on those who betrayed her father. The series stars Beren Saat, alongside Yiğit Özşener, Mert Fırat, Nejat İşler and Zafer Algöz.
