Derya Karadaş — Biography

Derya Karadaş is a Turkish actress born on May 4, 1981 in Istanbul. She comes from a Kurdish family that migrated from Tunceli to Bingöl and then to Istanbul. She received her acting training at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center, where she later also worked as an instructor.

Karadaş began her television career in 2007 with the series Gemilerde Talim Var and made her real breakthrough in 2012 with the character Zerrin in Yalan Dünya. She won acclaim with her Aysel character in Güldür Güldür Show and took on the role of Safiye in Gülse Birsel's series Jet Sosyete in 2018.

In cinema she appeared in Geniş Aile: Yapıştır (2015), Aile Arasında (2017) and Cici Babam (2018). After playing Meryem in the series Andropoz in 2022, she appeared before audiences in 2025 as Kudret in the series Veliaht. Derya Karadaş is married to actor Haki Biçici.
