İrem Sak — Biography

İrem Sak was born on 9 February 1986 in Sivas and moved to Istanbul for university, where she completed a degree in American Culture and Literature. She began acting in 2008 with a stage play and appeared in several commercials around the same time.

She entered television in 2010 with Şen Yuva, then reached a much wider audience playing a cabaret singer in Gülse Birsel's Yalan Dünya. After joining the BKM troupe she gained lasting recognition through her recurring character on Güldür Güldür, and won a jury special prize for a stage play as well as a best supporting actress award for a drama film. Her film career opened with Dedemin Fişi, and her credits include Dönerse Senindir, Ölümlü Dünya and Yılbaşı Gecesi.

Also active in streaming, she appeared in the series Kuş Uçuşu, and in 2025 returned to screens in a series she both wrote and starred in; in 2026 she returned to cinemas with D.I.S.C.O. In late 2025 she was briefly detained as part of a drug investigation; her test result came back negative.
