Meltem Yılmazkaya — Biography

Meltem Yılmazkaya is a Turkish actress and singer, born on 27 November 1984 in Istanbul. She graduated from the Theatre Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Yeditepe University and also trained at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center. Beginning her screen career in 2009 with the series Aile Saadeti, she went on to appear in series such as Benim Annem Bir Melek (2009), Şen Yuva (2010), 5'er Beşer (2011), Aşkın Halleri (2012) and Aldırma Gönül (2013). Since 2013 she has been widely known for the character Mehtap, whom she plays on the BKM production Güldür Güldür Show. She made her cinema debut with Dedemin Fişi (2016) and also appeared in the films Kaçma Birader (2016), Cici Babam (2018) and Eski Köye Yeni Adet (2018). The actress, who married in 2023 and became a mother the same year, continues her role on Güldür Güldür Show.
