Uğur Bilgin — Biography

Uğur Bilgin is a Turkish film, television and theatre actor born in 1980 in Istanbul. He graduated from the Acting Major of the Performing Arts Department at Dokuz Eylül University.

Bilgin began his acting career in cinema, appearing in the films Plajda (2008), Kağıt (2010), Böcek (2014) and Dedemin Fişi (2016); with Kolonya Cumhuriyeti (2017), Cici Babam (2018) and Organize İşler Sazan Sarmalı (2019) he became one of the familiar faces of Turkish comedy cinema. On television he appeared in the series Arka Sıradakiler, Aşağı Yukarı Yemişliler, Otisabi and Boynu Bükükler.

Since 2013 he has been part of the cast of Güldür Güldür Show on Show TV, where his portrayal of the character Mesut won over a wide audience; as of 2025 he continues in this role.
