Onur Buldu — Biography

Onur Buldu was born on August 4, 1982, in the Bergama district of İzmir to a midwife-nurse mother and a teacher father; his family, of Zaza descent, is originally from Mazgirt in Tunceli, and he was raised in İzmir's Menemen district. He graduated from the Theatre Department at Dokuz Eylül University, and during his student years worked at the İzmir State Theatre, appearing in plays such as Keşanlı Ali Destanı.

After settling in İstanbul, he began his professional career with the film Organize İşler in 2005, moved into television with Doktorlar (2007), and reached a wide audience with Avrupa Yakası (2007); he also shared the cast of Papatyam with Metin Akpınar. From 2013 he became known for playing Bilal Koçyiğit on the show Güldür Güldür, leaving the cast in 2022 and returning in 2024; from 2019 he hosted the game show Eyvah Düşüyorum on Star TV.

Alongside comedy films such as Dedemin Fişi (2016), Cici Babam (2018) and Bayi Toplantısı (2020), he also appeared in Berlin Kaplanı, Böcek, Olur Olur and Analı Oğullu, and went on to a dramatic role in Tebessüm (2023) and a lead role in Paranoya (2024). He married English teacher Duygu Kozoğlu in 2020, and their daughter Masal was born in 2022.
