Ece Sükan — Biography

Ece Sükan was born in 1977 in Ankara and studied in the Psychology Department of the Middle East Technical University. She worked as a DJ during her university years before moving into modeling at Marie Claire, where she placed third in the Best Model of Turkey competition; she then went on to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

She began her acting career in 2004 with the series 24 Saat, appearing the same year in Haziran Gecesi; she went on to take roles in Aşk Yakar (2008), Avrupa Yakası (2009) and Kızım Nerede (2010). In 2018 she played the character Şeyma in the series Gülperi, broadcast on Show Tv.

Alongside acting, Sükan has built a career as a stylist, creative director and fashion editor working between Istanbul and New York, and has been described as a "Turkish street style star." In late 2025 she took part in YSL Beauty's Libre campaign together with Bige Önal and Büşra Develi.
