Fatoş Seğmen — Biography
Fatoş Seğmen was born on 31 May 1982 in İzmir. After attending İzmir Girls' High School, she graduated from the Department of Physical Education Teaching at Ege University.
In 2000 she won the Best Model of the World contest held in Baku, and in 2004 she came second in a beauty queen contest in Turkey. Following these successes she turned to professional modelling.
Seğmen began acting in 2004 with the series 24 Saat and went on to appear in the series Evlilik Okulu, Yalancı Romantik, Komedi Türk, Gemilerde Talim Var, Kuş Dili and Ah Polis Olsam. In the 2010 film Kağıt she portrayed the character Asu Balkan. Also a presenter, she was among the celebrity contestants of the fashion competition Stil Avcıları, broadcast on Fox TV with Hakan Akkaya, Demet Şener and Uğurkan Erez on the jury.
In September 2024 the press reported that she had become engaged.
