Gökberk Demirci — Biography

Playing Emir Tarhun in the series Yemin made Gökberk Demirci, a Turkish film and television actor, widely known. After Emir, many doors opened in his career. In November-December 2025 he joined the cast of the series Rüya Gibi, which is his current project.

Born in İzmit and originally from Adana, he took part in short children's plays at school, took acting lessons at the Cengiz Küçükayvaz Theatre, performed with Aktörist and briefly modelled for the Italian photographer Edoardo Delille. For many years he practised mixed martial arts, and he can ride and handle a sword. He made his screen debut in 2012 with a small part in Bir Zamanlar Osmanlı: Kıyam, followed by series such as Yıldızlar da Kayar, Malazgirt 1071 and Hayatımın Aşkı, continuing his theatre work alongside and still taking on new projects.

In 2019 Yemin gave him a lead role. In later years he played Kartal Köksal in Kanal D's Üç Kız Kardeş, adapted from İclal Aydın's novel, and also appeared in Üvey Baba. He stars alongside Tuğba Melis Türk in the film Köy Düğünü and in 2026 was named among the cast of Düşes.
