Gupse Özay — Biography

Gupse Özay was born in 1984 in İzmir.

She completed her education in the Radio, TV and Cinema Department of Ege University.

While studying at university, she won an award for the documentary Yaşaman Yaşamışım, which she made together with her friends.

Gupse Özay had her first acting experience with the series Yalan Dünya and, with the character Nurhayat she portrayed, managed to keep viewers glued to their screens.

Later she shot the film Deliha, which she wrote and directed herself, and stepped into the world of cinema.

She appeared in the film Küçük Esnaf, written and directed by İbrahim Büyükak and released in early 2016, where she played the character Burcu.

Most recently she starred in the film Görümce, which she also wrote and which was released on December 2.
