Hande Kazanova — Biography

Zişan Hande Kazanova was born on 25 September 1973 in İzmir. The only child of the Kazanova family, she finished primary and secondary school in İzmir before studying administrative sciences at Istanbul University; as a young woman she placed in the top ten of a beauty pageant.

She began her acting career in 1992 with the series Mahallenin Muhtarları, and later became widely known for playing Canan Çavan in the series Valley of the Wolves (Kurtlar Vadisi) and for her role in the film G.O.R.A.; over the years she also appeared in numerous other series and films, including Yasemince, Hanımeli Sokağı and Alice in Wonderland (Alice Harikalar Diyarında).

In recent years, alongside acting, Kazanova has become known as an astrologer, writing a monthly horoscope column for elele.com.tr and appearing in astrology-focused segments on television and podcasts.
