Kıvanç Kasabalı — Biography
Kıvanç Kasabalı, an actor, model and television host of Circassian descent, was born on 24 February 1975 in Istanbul. He graduated in business administration from Uludağ University, entered modelling in 1994, and moved into acting with Ayrılsak da Beraberiz in 1999. Minor parts gave way to wide recognition once he took on Cem Aydınoğlu in Yaprak Dökümü (2006-2010), and he also appeared in Küçük Kadınlar.
He went on to act in Merhamet, Ağlatan Dans, Analar ve Anneler, Bodrum Masalı, Siyah Beyaz Aşk and Yasak Elma. Between 2020 and 2024 he hosted TRT Belgesel's Şehirden Uzakta, and today presents Kıvanç Kasabalı ile Bu Topraklar on his own YouTube channel, a show built around Anatolian villages and children who work as shepherds.
He has been married to fellow performer Sedef Avcı since 2005 and has a son, Can; when his father died in November 2025, his close friend Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ stood by him.
