Murat Aygen — Biography
Murat Aygen was born on 29 October 1971 in Diyarbakır; his real surname is Ağlatçı. He graduated from the Biology Department of Istanbul University in 1992 and from the Musical-Theatre Acting program of the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory in 1998.
He began acting in 1998 with the series Örümcek; after Evdeki Yabancı, Ankara Ekspresi, Paramparça Aşklar, Kül ve Ateş and Dedektif Memoli, he became known as Faruk Beylice in Medcezir and Evren Ergüven in Bodrum Masalı. He played Lawyer Can in İstanbullu Gelin and Demir Akdora in Şahin Tepesi, and appeared in Yasak Elma.
In 2019 he reached a wide audience as Doctor Tanju Korman in Mucize Doktor. Aygen, who appeared in Korkma Ben Yanındayım in 2024, joined the fifth season of Kızılcık Şerbeti in 2026 as the character 'Lider'. Alongside acting, he has also turned to writing.
