Melih Selçuk — Biography
Melih Selçuk was born on 7 February 1984 in Mardin. He graduated from the Business Administration Department of Boğaziçi University and stepped into acting by answering an advertisement he saw during his university years.
His first cinema experience, the role of Yusuf in Semih Kaplanoğlu's film Süt (2008), earned him the Promising Young Actor award at the 16th Adana Altın Koza Film Festival. In 2011 he became widely known with his role in the series Adını Feriha Koydum and also appeared in the series Pis Yedili that same year.
His career continued with Aşk Ağlatır and Toprağa Uzanan Eller (2013), Yıldızlar Şahidim (2016), Cenaze İşleri (2017) and Bebek Geliyorum Demez (2018); in 2021 he appeared in the films Muallim, Milyonda Bir, Şeflerin Şefi and Okul Tıraşı. In 2022 he played the character Salih in the series O Kız, and in 2023 he was in cinemas with the film Oyun Bitti.
