Eda Ece — Biography

Eda Ece — full name Eda Ece Uzunalioğlu Tuncer — was born on 20 June 1990 in Istanbul, the youngest of three sisters. She finished Şişli Terakki High School and went on to study psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University. A stage play she performed in during her university years led a talent manager, Tümay Özokur, to introduce her to Gani Müjde, opening the door to a professional acting career after years of small television roles dating back to 2002.

She landed her first lead as Cimbom in Pis Yedili (2011-2014), a performance that won her Best Actress at the Ayaklı Gazete awards, and went on to play Zeyno in Beni Böyle Sev. Her first film lead came in Kızım İçin (2013); she later played Ceren in the Kocan Kadar Konuş films, Deniz in Görümce, and Elif in İlişki Durumu: Karışık.

Her career peaked with the role of Yıldız Yılmaz in Yasak Elma, which aired on FOX from 2018 to 2023 and earned her the Turkish Actress of the Year award at the Murex d'Or ceremony. She served as a judge on the singing competition Maske: Kimsin Sen? in 2022, and returned to cinema in 2026 as Aslı in Sonunda Sen.
