Miraj Grbić — Biography

Miraj Grbić was born on 17 July 1976 in Sarajevo and is a Bosnian-American actor. After graduating from the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, he joined the National Theatre of Sarajevo, where he spent twelve years taking on characters from Molière, Chekhov, Shakespeare and Gogol. At home he also became a familiar face through the series Lud, zbunjen, normalan.

Abroad, he is best recognized for his part in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. He has taught screen acting at the New York Film Academy's Los Angeles campus, and between 2010 and 2014 he fronted a pop-rock band called Karne, which he formed with Goran Navojec and Feđo Isović and which released its sole album, Diktatura amatera, in 2012. He is married to fellow performer Marija Omaljev-Grbić.
