Pelin Öztekin — Biography
Pelin Öztekin is a Turkish actress born on February 17, 1987 in İzmit. The daughter of veteran actor Rasim Öztekin, she attended Fenerbahçe High School and then studied languages at the École des Roches in France. She first appeared on screen in 2003 with the series Hayat Bilgisi, but her real recognition came with BKM's Çok Güzel Hareketler Bunlar (2008).
She acted in series such as Sınıf (2008), Doksanlar (2013) and Hayat Şarkısı (2016, as Zeynep), and appeared in the films Neşeli Hayat (2009), Çok Filim Hareketler Bunlar (2010) and the German production 300 Worte Deutsch (2013). In 2026 she made headlines after losing 93 kilograms in six months, and the same year she was widely discussed for her statements defending her father's legacy in the "kavuk" (traditional skullcap) dispute that followed a football derby.
