Selin Genç

Selin Genç — Biography

Selin Genç was born on 21 June 1994 in Istanbul. After studying in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Işık University, she also trained in acting at the Theatre Department of the Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory.

She began her acting career in 2018 with the role of Gülten in the ATV series Bir Zamanlar Çukurova, whose cast included Vahide Perçin, Murat Ünalmış, Uğur Güneş and Hilal Altınbilek. In 2021 she played the character Bahar in the series Sana Söz.

In 2025 she turned toward music, saying she could express herself more freely through songs, and released singles such as "Sevdanın 4 Hali". Later that year she secretly married her partner Onur Alp Erol in Budapest, a relationship she spoke about publicly in interviews given in 2026.
