Selin Yeninci — Biography
Selin Yeninci was born on January 16, 1988, in Istanbul. A graduate of the Acting Department at Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts, she made her film debut in 2014 with Olur Olur and Toz Ruhu, and two years later took on her first television role in the series Kaçın Kurası.
Following the series Yüz Yüze and Avlu, she gained wide recognition for playing Saniye in Bir Zamanlar Çukurova, which she joined in 2018. Her performance in the 2022 film Kurak Günler (Burning Days) earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at both the Adana Film Festival and the Turkish Film Critics Association Awards.
In recent years she has also built an international profile, becoming the first Turkish actress to be honored as a guest at the El Gouna Film Festival in 2025, serving on the jury of the International Emmy Awards, and appearing at the Cannes Film Festival in 2026.
