Shurangiz Tabatabai — Biography

Shurangiz Tabatabai is an Iranian film actress born in 1953 in Lahijan. She built her acting career in Iranian cinema through the 1970s, in the years leading up to the 1979 revolution.

During that decade she appeared in numerous domestic productions, playing Foroogh in Kaniz (1974), Nazi in Oosta-Karim Nokaretim (1974), Shirin in Pashne Tala (1975), and Hengameh in Joys of Our Life (1976). Her later screen credits include Feri Dast Ghashang (1977) and Be dadam beres rafigh (1978), after which her filmography, like that of many of her contemporaries, comes to an end.
