Simay Barlas — Biography
Simay Barlas is a Turkish actress born in Istanbul. She began her career appearing in advertising films for brands such as Uludağ Frutti Extra, Rocco and Vekta Isıtıcı, and graduated from the Cinema and Television Department of İstanbul Bilgi University.
She moved into series acting in 2014 with Star TV's Paramparça, then went on to play the character Gözde in Hayat Bazen Tatlıdır. In the years that followed she took on a range of characters in series broadcast on Kanal D, FOX and Show TV, including Adı Efsane, Zalim İstanbul, Bir Annenin Günahı, Aziz, Yabani and Ömer, and also moved into film with the 2019 production Dijital Esaret.
Known for her broad experience across advertising, film and television acting, Barlas continues to take on new projects.
