Mine Tugay — Biography

Melek Mine Tugay (born July 28, 1978 in Konya) is a Turkish theatre, film and television actress. She stepped onto the stage in 1997 with the play "Büyük Kulaklı Küçük Ayı". After leaving her training at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center unfinished, she graduated from the acting department of the Istanbul University State Conservatory and completed a master's degree in advanced acting at Bahçeşehir University.

She began her screen career with the series Gülbeyaz (2002) and became known as Suna in Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi (2010). She went on to play Bahar in Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki (2012), Ender in Medcezir (2013), Asuman in Paramparça (2016), Şeniz Karaçay in Zalim İstanbul (2019) and Neval in Gülümse Kaderine (2022); she also appeared in Yalı Çapkını and in Merve Kült (2023). Tugay, who also performed on stage in Semaver Kumpanya and Tiyatro Dot productions, was named Best Actress at the 13th Afife Awards and the LIONS Theatre Awards for her performance in Karatavuk.
