A View of Love

A View of Love (original title Un balcon sur la mer, literally 'A balcony over the sea') is a 2010 French romantic mystery film directed by Nicole Garcia from a screenplay she wrote with Jacques Fieschi. The story follows three pied-noir children separated when Algeria gained independence. Many years later, two of them cross paths again in the south of France: he is now a married real estate agent, while she is a mysterious woman being used to defraud the firm he works for. Throughout the film, their fate is mirrored by Iphigénie, the play the children once performed together, in which two princesses vie for a flawed hero and one meets a tragic end. Jean Dujardin leads the cast, joined by Marie-Josée Croze, Toni Servillo, Sandrine Kiberlain, Michel Aumont and Claudia Cardinale. Produced by EuropaCorp, the film was released in France on 15 December 2010.
