Antar-o-Mantar

Antar-o-Mantar is a 1976 Iranian drama directed by Amir Shervan from a screenplay by Ahmad Najibzadeh. Made in Persian and running about 83 minutes, it reached screens in 1355 of the Iranian calendar. The cast is led by Beyk İmanverdi and Mohammad Abdi, with Fariba Khatami, Akbar Esfahani and Farhad Khoshbakht also appearing. Shervan made the picture during the years when he was an active figure in Iran's pre-revolution commercial film industry, before leaving the country and continuing to direct abroad. It stands among the popular productions of Iranian cinema from that era.
